Dear Colfax-Mingo Families, Welcome to the 24-25 school year at Colfax-Mingo! As principal, it is my pleasure to invite you to join us in creating a dynamic and supportive educational experience for every student. Our school is committed to fostering a thriving school culture, an enriching learning environment, and rigorous education, all driven by a team of exceptional staff. This year, we are focused on several key goals that will help every student achieve their fullest potential: *Attendance Matters: We aim to reduce chronically absent students from 28% to 18% by next year, ensuring all students are present and ready to learn. *Academic Excellence: By the end of this year, 100% of our 7th–9th graders will achieve proficiency on the ELA ISASP tests. *Engagement for All: We are committed to having 100% of students involved in an activity, club, or sport. *Future-Ready Graduates: Every student will complete at least one college course, work-based learning credit, or earn an industry-recognized credential before graduation. We believe these goals will set our students up for success and reflect our dedication to preparing them for a bright future.
