407.02 – Recruitment & Selection of Non-Certified Personnel

Recruitment and selection of non-certified personnel shall be the responsibility of the administration. Whenever possible the preliminary screening of candidates shall be conducted by the Superintendent who will be directly in charge of the person being hired. The administrative team shall have the authority to recruit and select personnel. Names and salaries to be paid shall be presented to the Board for approval. 

Selection shall be based upon the merits of the candidates without regard to race, religion, age, color, sex, disability, creed, marital status, national origin, sexual identity, gender identity & socio-economic status.
