How to Apply for Open Enrollment

1. Download the Application: Access the Iowa Department of Education’s open enrollment form here.
2. Complete the Form: Each student requires a separate application.
3. Submit Your Application: Applications must be submitted to both your resident district and Colfax-Mingo Schools by the deadlines below.

• March 1: Deadline for regular open enrollment applications for the upcoming school year.
• September 1: Deadline for kindergarten and special education students to enroll for the current year.
